5 Days of Hiking 90km | 9 Days Adventure Tour
Did you know that the Fish River Canyon is the second largest canyon in the world, surpassed only by the Grand Canyon in the United States?For Ages 13+

From the airport, we will depart for a two-hour journey to Erindi Private Game Reserve where we will spend the next two nights. An afternoon Safari on day will be possible, depending on your energy levels after the long flight.
Day 2 will include a morning and afternoon Safari.Accommodation: Lodging
Activities: Safari -
From Erindi we will drive 300km towards the coastal town Swakopmund. The first day’s afternoon activities are optional and are at own cost as there are countless possibilities from sky-diving to kayaking with seals or quad-biking on the dunes.
On the morning of day 2, we will do a “little 5, living desert tour” where experienced desert guides track down amazing little animals like chameleons and spiders in the dunes.Accommodation: Bed and Breakfast
Activities: Living Desert Tour -
From the coast we head back inland and south, passing the Tropic of Capricorn line, to Namibia’s most popular destination - Sossusvlei. It will be a scenic 4-hour journey through the desert and we will stop at Solitaire for the best apple pie in Namibia!
Here we will visit the Sesriem Canyon, climb the highest dune in the world, and see the painting-like beautiful Deadvlei.Accommodation: Lodging

Today we depart for the World’s second-largest canyon - The Fish River Canyon. We have a long 7-hour journey to get here, but once again the vast desert scenery will make the drive worth it.

Today we will depart for our 5-day hiking trail. The starting point of the hike has an amazing view over the canyon.
This 90km hike includes breathtaking sceneries, challenging terrain, isolated wilderness, and unbelievable night skies!DISCLAIMER: You are required to carry all your food and belongings for the next 5 days.

Accommodation: Camping on the sand banks of the Fish River -
Today will depend on when we exit the canyon and finish the trail. The trail's endpoint is at Ai-ais, a comfortable little destination with hot springs where we can take a shower and freshen up from the long hike.
If time allows we will start driving back toward Windhoek and sleep somewhere along the way.

A Walking Stick will be your friend!

Hat, Sunglasses & Sun protection
Waterbottles (2 liters minimum) and water purification tablets
Small First Aid (For Blisters Mostly)
One 1x pants | 1x shirt | 1x Socks in your bag (and a second pair of each to wear)
Light but warm jacket
Small hiking stove & small pot (with an extra gas connection)
Light hiking cutlery, bowl, and cup
We prepare all your meals, but you will have to carry your ownIt is important that the weight of your bag is not heavier than 20% of your body weight
MEDICAL CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE:
All participants on the hiking trail are required to complete an indemnity form, as well as provide a medical clearance certificate completed by a qualified physician. The medical certificate can be no more than 40 days old. Hikers will not be permitted to do the hike without it.
