“Colandri is not just the best guide I’ve ever had, she is the best in any hospitality or leisure industry job I’ve ever seen. She not only knew exactly where to go in Etosha, she was perfect at dealing with any situation with other guides, staff, travelers, or just random people—and of course wild animals. She made us all feel safe and welcome and made sure we had the best possible time. If I had my South Africa and Namibia trip to do over again, the one thing I’d change is to spend more time with Colandri!”

“We have done many safaris in Namibia, Botswana. Colandri was one of the best guides we ever had. She has huge knowledge about animals and flora and is always keen to educate and explain. She has an incredible knowledge about how to behave in the the wilderness and not to disturb the wild animals. She is unbelievable in detecting lions, leopards and other animals without disturbing them. We definitely go again on a trip with her. Thank you, Colandri for showing us Namibia:-)”

“Multiple enjoyable birding excursions with Colandri led me to accompany her and a small group on a 5-day game-viewing trip to the Khaudum National Park in Namibia. Cola is one of those people who are blessed with boundless energy and enthusiasm for their chosen vocation. Expect to be hopping in and out of her 4x4, gearing up and exploring the wilderness on foot and then propelling yourself across the Orange in a kayak (maybe all on the same day!). Cola will make it all seem as easy as a walk in the park as she is always prepared for every eventuality. If you are lucky she might even find the time to bake you fresh “Potbrood” on the braai under the stars when you break hungrily for dinner.

I especially enjoy her depth of knowledge about the flora and fauna (though she can be a bit of a bird-nerd at times!). Her talent for storytelling is such that you learn about the natural world without even realising, utterly engrossed as she recounts tales of her amazing animal encounters. Cola has a talent for entertaining children and adults alike with her great range of skills, whether you find yourself trying to beat her at one of her crazy card games, perfecting your bush-craft or competing in a “Bokdrol Spoeg Challenge” you just come out feeling a little more accomplished for having spent a bit of time in the presence of Guide Colandri Reyneke.”

“Colandri is an exceptional field guide who not only possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of the natural world but also exudes an infectious passion for conservation and the environment.

Her ability to identify and share insights about the diverse flora and fauna of Namibia is amazing. Not only does she master the subject matter but also shows genuine dedication to environmental stewardship. Furthermore, Colandri has very strong interpersonal skills, creating an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere for all participants.

For anyone seeking a transformative and enlightening encounter with nature, I wholeheartedly recommend joining one of her tours.”

“Cola was a wonderful guide and made sure we safely saw everything Etosha had to offer. Her knowledge of the wildlife was excellent and she calmly managed a couple of close encounters. On top of that she found some omajova mushrooms for us to have with dinner! I highly recommend her.”
