Sending your children to the Namibian Youth Adventure Program in Africa is an extraordinary opportunity for them to embark on a journey of self-discovery, learning, and adventure. This carefully curated program strikes a perfect balance between education and recreation.
During the first week, your children will acquire valuable life skills such as map reading, basic first aid, discipline, and fitness, fostering their personal development and self-reliance.
The subsequent two weeks will be a holiday filled with unforgettable safari adventures, where they'll witness the breathtaking wildlife and landscapes of Namibia, engage with local cultures, and create lasting memories.
Rest assured, our experienced and certified team, including professional safari guides, will ensure their safety and provide a transformative experience. This program promises to be an inspiring and educational journey that will broaden their horizons, boost their confidence, and offer a unique perspective on the world.
FULL ITINERARY

a Transformative and Educational journey centered around sustainability, nature conservation, and cultural enrichment.
The program encompasses a diverse array of activities, from understanding the importance of nature conservation to identifying birds, snakes, animals, and their tracks.
Basic first-aid training, photography, and map reading are woven into the curriculum, offering insights into sustainable resource utilization.
Emphasizing the preservation of traditional knowledge from the indigenous Khwe and Ju/'Hoansi communities, the camp introduces participants to the "Bush Newspaper" and the science of tracking.
Students will witness the sustainable use of renewable resources, engage in tree planting, and experience stargazing under Namibia's unpolluted and star-lit sky.
This holistic experience fosters an appreciation for the interconnectedness of nature, highlighting its crucial role in human survival, culminating in a memorable and enlightening journey.
The final day is marked by the presentation of Ranger Certificates to children who have completed the 7-Day Ranger Course.

From Camp ISAP we depart towards Etosha National Park, known as the 'Great White Place,' where abundant wildlife awaits discovery.
On Day 7 late afternoon, we will depart for our first Safari
On day 8, we will join a safari specialist guide for an early morning Interpretive Bush Walk, providing a closer look at smaller animals, tracks, and signs. With luck, you might encounter wildlife on foot!
The afternoon holds another exploration of Etosha National Park.

We set out on our last adventure in the National Park, driving to the other side of the pan to exit the park at a different gate.
For the next two nights, we will sleep in luxury at Kifaru, home to the Rhino Momma Project.
Day 12 brings excitement as we embark on a rhino tracking walk, learning more about the species and the ongoing efforts to protect them…and hopefully finding a rhino by tracking the animal down on foot.

We will continue southwest into Damaraland towards historical rock engravings marked as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This area is home to the Damara people who will share their way of living with us at the Damara-living Museum. The students will be able to interact with and learn from the Damara people.

Today's journey takes us to the awe-inspiring Skeleton Coast. As we traverse this remarkable landscape, we'll witness the haunting beauty, rugged shoreline, and numerous shipwrecks from old Europeans trying to make their way around Africa.
Along the way, we'll have the chance to visit a massive seal colony as well as possible Jackals and Hyenas trying to prey on them. We will also keep an eye out for whales and dolphins in the surrounding waters, adding a touch of marine wonder to our adventure.

We will spend the morning at the beach and only depart towards Swakopmund after lunch.
Early on day 15, we will go on a “Little Five” desert drive where skilled guides will track down animals in the dunes. We will look for the Dancing White Lady Spider, various Beetles, the Namaqua Chameleon, the Lizards and Geckos, the pygmy Puff Adder, Scorpions, and more. The guide will also explain more about the geography of the desert landscape and we will look at one of the oldest plants in the world – the Welwitchia.
After the Living Desert Tour, we will depart towards Sossusvlei, passing the Tropic of CapricornAccommodation: Bed and Breakfast

The next two days we will spend in the desert, visiting the famous Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, and Sesriem Canyon. We will also climb the biggest dune in the world and look at mysterious fairy circles.

Today we will start traveling back to Windhoek - but first, we will have one last magical night under the African sky before reaching the city. Tonight we will do an Astronomy Tour and look at stars and planets through telescopes. Namibia is one of the best places in the world to look at - and learn about astronomy.

Parents Self-Drive Tour (Optional)
We understand that sending your kids away for three weeks to Africa can be an apprehensive decision. To address your concerns, we offer you the option to book a 14-day self-drive tour for weeks 2 and 3, following the same route and destinations as the youth program. This way, you'll be near your children, although you will not be part of the Youth Adventure Program.
Rest assured; our professional team will still be overseeing their activities during these weeks and you will have time to enjoy your Namibian holiday.
